Who we are
S-S-B is the trading name of SSB Tech Ltd, a company
registered in England and Wales, company number 16376155. Our registered
office is A507, Anchor House, Conington Road, London SE13 7SQ. We are the data
controller for the information described on this page.

What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form, or send us directly:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you give one
- Your job title or position, if you give one
- What your enquiry is about, and whatever you write in the details box
Alongside that we record the date and time, the IP address the enquiry came from,
and your browser's user-agent string. Those three are kept to stop automated spam,
not to build a picture of you.
We do not buy contact details, we do not collect anything from you in the
background, and we have no tracking, analytics or advertising on this site.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
To answer you, quote for the work, and keep a record of what was discussed if the
job goes ahead. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests — you have
approached us about our services and it is reasonable for us to reply and to keep the
thread. If we later work together, we also need it to perform the contract.
We will not add you to a mailing list, and we will not send you marketing you did
not ask for.
Automated spam checks
Every submission is scored automatically for signs of spam — how it was filled in,
whether it contains the patterns bulk senders use, whether we have had the same
message before. Anything that scores highly is held aside instead of reaching our
inbox. Nothing is deleted by the machine, and a person can always look. If you ever
send us something and hear nothing, call us and we will find it.
Who else sees it
Only the suppliers that make the website and our email work:
- Railway — hosts the website and stores the enquiry record.
- Resend — delivers the notification email to us.
- Our own email provider, where the enquiry lands in our inbox.
Each of them handles the data on our instructions under a contract. Some process
data outside the UK, which is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law
requires for international transfers. We do not sell your details or share them with
anyone else.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are deleted 24 months after our last contact with you.
If we end up working together, records relating to that work are kept for
six years from the end of the accounting period they fall in, which is
the period HMRC requires limited companies to keep business records for.
Cookies
This site sets none. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party
trackers. That is why you are not looking at a cookie banner.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict
what we do with it, or object to us holding it at all. You can also ask for it in a
portable format. Email info@ssbtech.co.uk and
we will deal with it within one month, free of charge.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it you can complain to the
Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk
or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Changes
If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at
the top.
